The TOEFL or Test of English as a Foreign Language is a test that is given to prospective students who want to study in universities abroad in order to determine their proficiency in speaking and writing English as it is used in an academic setting. It is accepted at more than 9,000 educational institutions worldwide and over 130 countries, including most of the best universities in the US, the UK and Australia.
When you get high scores in your TOEFL, you can attend virtually any university that you choose since it is the most preferred English proficiency test by the majority of college admissions officers. It is also very convenient to take since it is given over the Internet more than fifty times annually and is offered at more than 4,500 authorized sites in some 165 countries globally. Like the IELTS it covers the following skill areas: reading, writing, listening and speaking.
One of the major advantages of choosing the TOEFL as a way of proving your English proficiency is that it is considered more accurate by universities and other institutions because it actually measures how well candidates can integrate the four English skills in a classroom.
The test requires you to complete tasks that reflect what you might actually face in an academic setting. The TOEFL takes around half-a-day to complete, which saves you time and money compared with other tests that require you to take them over two sessions.
We will help prepare you for the TOEFL by strengthening your English language skills so that you can earn high scores in the test. In addition, we will also provide you with model test questions so that you will get an idea of what the test is actually like, as well as follow-up sessions explaining the answers. You will be prepared under the same conditions that the TOEFL will actually be given so that you will be more comfortable when it comes time for you to actually take the test.
